The Panthers Group is actually more than the NRL team. The group has some of the largest collections of clubs, and lifestyle and hospitality venues in NSW. It is a “community-owned” organisation. And as such, the group has always endeavored to find ways to give back to the community.
The Panthers Group, Finding Ways
The Panthers Group plays an important role in the community. They go above and beyond providing NSW with entertainment avenues, as well as a team we can root for.
The group has established several community programs, including ‘Panthers on the Prowl’ Community Development Foundation.
The ‘Panthers on the Prowl’ is the largest community program of the group. It is designed to aid the community in improving access to better health and lifestyle programs and resources for students. Since 2000, the program has supported more than 25,000 children.
The program works by networking with over 250 schools in NSW. It seeks out students who are at risk of disengaging with their education. Panthers on the Prowl has established several reading and learning programs that improve student engagement. These programs enjoy more than $100,000 annual donations from the Panthers Penrith Leagues Clubs.
This is just the tip of The Panthers Group’s contributions. Their social outreach programs encompass the 4 pillars of community-building: education, social inclusion, health and engagement.
